The draft permit is available for public consultation from 20 December 2024 to 30 January 2025. All documents and the invitation to a digital information meeting on Thursday 16 January can be found at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rvo.nl\/aramis\">www.rvo.nl\/aramis<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Porthos, Aramis and CO2next will form a unique CO2 infrastructure together in the future. The projects complement each other and work together to realise CO\u2082 capture, transport and storage in the Netherlands from 2026, with a focus on the port of Rotterdam and the North Sea.<\/p>\n<p>Porthos will transport 2.5 million tonnes of CO2 annually. The Porthos onshore pipeline is capable of transporting 10 million tonnes, so it can also supply CO\u2082 to future projects such as Aramis. The Porthos compressor station will be part of the Aramis CO2 transport infrastructure. It also forms the heart of the future CO\u2082 hub on which CO2next can also use.
