It is our pleasure to welcome you to the first Porthos Knowledge Sharing Webinar for CCS Professionals on 4 November 2025.

Porthos is the first CO₂ transport and storage project within the European Union, marking a significant milestone in the development of large-scale Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS). Over the past years, substantial progress has been made—both on-site and behind the scenes. Construction of the CO₂ infrastructure is advancing steadily, and preparations for commissioning and start-up are well underway.

We believe this is a perfect moment to share our experiences we’ve gained so far with fellow CCS professionals. By exchanging insights and lessons learned, we aim to contribute to the growth of CCS as a mature, reliable industry—and ultimately, to a future with less CO₂. During the webinar, we will share insights and lessons learned from the development, preparation, and execution of the Porthos project so far.
